CBD and Your Pet

CBD and Your Pet

Before making any lifestyle or medical changes always consult with your pet’s Veterinarian.

As a pet owner, you want to provide only the best for your furbaby! With more and more CBD companies popping up it is hard to know what is safe and high quality.

The ongoing education surrounding CBD for both humans and pets has closed the gap of misinformation, however, there are still grey areas surrounding the topic.

Pets have an endocannabinoid system (ECS) just like humans. The ECS is a complex system that needs nourishment to create homeostasis in the body. There are two types of receptors in the ECS, CB1 and CB2. These receptors reside in the brand and central nervous system (CB1) and peripheral nervous system (CB2) along with immune cells. The cannabinoid molecules bind to these receptors essentially filling a nutritional gap. Studies have shown countless benefits to consuming CBD for both humans and pets leading to a better quality of life.

FAQ

Will my pet get high?

NO. CBD sourced from industrial hemp naturally has TRACE THC (the component giving the psychoactive effect in marijuana). The federal legal limit for hemp products is .3% which provides the health benefits without the high.

Full-spectrum vs broad what is the difference?

Full Spectrum products hit both receptors in the body creating the entourage effect. This allows the compounds to act synergistically in the body whilst hitting both receptors. The reason being the TRACE THC that is in the full spectrum products. Broad-spectrum contains all of the cannabinoids that fully do, EXCEPT the THC component.

Oil-based delivery vs water-soluble delivery

Oil and water don’t mix therefore making it difficult to absorb an oil-based CBD product. Studies have shown that only 5%-30% of the CBD in oil is actually absorbed into the body. With the water dissolvable technology BioReigns provides, you will absorb over 90% into the body in a matter of minutes saving you money while getting better results.

How can I administer this to my pet?

Simply put the tincture in their water or directly into their mouth!
